About the Draft Aerotropolis Integrated Stormwater Development Servicing Plan
The Draft Aerotropolis Integrated Stormwater Development Servicing Plan (DSP) was on exhibition for 30 working days, from Tuesday 28 April to 5pm 9 June 2026. This plan sets the charges paid by developers for stormwater servicing within the Aerotropolis Initial Precincts (excluding Mamre Road). The Initial Aerotropolis Precincts include Bradfield, Badgerys Creek, Northern Gateway and Agribusiness.
The infrastructure contribution charge in the draft plan has been determined using methodology set out by our independent regulator, the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) in their 2018 Determination.
The charge covers the price of connecting a new development to integrated stormwater and recycled water services – including stormwater basins, trunk drainage channels, treatment facilities and recycled water distribution networks - which will be delivered progressively as part of the Aerotropolis Integrated Stormwater Scheme.
As the Regional Stormwater Authority, Sydney Water has developed the draft plan incorporating lessons learnt from the Mamre Road stormwater scheme, Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) efficiency review and feedback received on the draft Aerotropolis stormwater scheme which was exhibited in 2025.
