We're planning stormwater servicing for Duncans Mulgoa

As Regional Stormwater Authority, we’re committed to supporting delivery of stormwater infrastructure to service the Aerotropolis.

Stormwater schemes help manage rainwater to drain developable areas, protect waterways, and support healthy environments for both people and nature. The Duncans Mulgoa scheme covers a large area of the Agribusiness Initial Precinctidentified by the NSW government as a priority area for development ahead of other areas of the Aerotropolis.

As part of the Aerotropolis Draft Integrated Stormwater Scheme for Duncans Mulgoa, we’re proposing various types of infrastructure including:

  • stormwater harvesting infrastructure, including wetlands and stormwater basins, naturally filter and store stormwater that is collected from developed areas
  • naturalised creeks and trunk drainage channels that will work alongside other elements of the system to move stormwater through the landscape.
