We're planning stormwater servicing for Duncans Mulgoa

As Regional Stormwater Authority, we’re committed to supporting delivery of stormwater infrastructure to service the Aerotropolis.

Stormwater schemes help manage rainwater to drain developable areas, protect waterways, and support healthy environments for both people and nature. The Duncans Mulgoa scheme covers a large area of the Agribusiness Initial Precinct – identified by the NSW government as a priority area for development ahead of other areas of the Aerotropolis.

As part of the Aerotropolis Draft Integrated Stormwater Scheme for Duncans Mulgoa, we’re proposing various types of infrastructure including:

• stormwater harvesting infrastructure, including wetlands and stormwater basins, naturally filter and store stormwater that is collected from developed areas
• naturalised creeks and trunk drainage channels that will work alongside other elements of the system to move stormwater through the landscape.

We are asking for your feedback on the draft scheme from now until Friday 19 September 2025. The feedback we receive will be used to inform our designs for the future stormwater system.

• dropping a pin and leaving a comment on our interactive map, which shows property level detail for the proposed regional stormwater infrastructure
• completing a survey to tell us what you think.

If you're the owner of a property that is impacted by the proposed infrastructure, you can also schedule an individual briefing with our project team.
